I’ve noticed that Sanrio characters are becoming popular again, especially for avatars on social platforms. Lately I’ve seen a lot of people using a cinnamoroll pfp and it actually looks really cute and recognizable even in small profile icons. 

I found this page featuring multiple cinnamoroll pfp options and it made me wonder if this is part of a bigger aesthetic trend online. Are people intentionally switching to soft, pastel cartoon avatars lately? I’d love to hear if anyone here follows avatar trends or has suggestions for standing out while still keeping the cute aesthetic vibe.
