Has anyone taken their Aston to these guys? Thinking about it but nervous
I'm in a bit of a tough spot with my 2012 Aston Martin DB9. The battery keeps dying if I don't drive it for more than two or three days, which is annoying because I don't use this car every single day. I've already replaced the battery once and the alternator seems fine according to my multimeter, so I'm thinking there must be some kind of parasitic drain somewhere in the electrical system. The problem is, most regular garages look at me like I have two heads when I bring in an Aston. They just don't have the wiring diagrams or the diagnostic tools to figure out these kinds of issues. A guy at a car meet last week mentioned a place called 800sayara.com/aston-martin-repair-sharjah and said they actually work on British cars regularly. I'm trying to decide if I should make the drive out there or just bite the bullet and go to the dealership which I know will be three times the price. Has anyone here actually used this garage for electrical problems or any other work on their Aston? Were they honest about what needed to be done or did they try to add a bunch of extra stuff? Also, do they give you a loaner car or at least a ride home? I don't mind paying for good work but I've been burned before by places that claim to be specialists but are just guessing. Any real experiences would really help me make up my mind.
