Hello, everyone. I have worked in logistics for several years, and I was recently charged with transporting large equipment for one big construction project. Previously, we mostly used standard shipping containers, but now we need to transport a very large metal frame and some heavy parts. A standard container is simply not big enough. One of my partners suggested using service Gettransport to order flat rack container, so I started researching such transport solutions. From what I understand, it is an open container, and transport companies claim that it is ideal for situations like ours. However, I am still not sure about this solution. I would like to hear from others in logistics who have worked with similar equipment. Of course, transport companies will advertise it as the best option, but that's not always true.
