Trying to Read the Splunk IT Service Intelligence Certified Admin Certification Global Trends Before I Commit
Trying to figure out if ITSI Certification is worth the study time before I commit, so wanted some outside input first.
Quick context: 2 years doing general Splunk admin work, and ITSI came up as a "specialise and move up" option from my manager. But I'm not based in a major tech hub, so before I sink weeks into this, I want to know if hiring is concentrated somewhere I'm not.
A few things I'm trying to sort out:
Does location actually matter much for this cert, or is demand spread out enough across regions that it's not a huge factor?
Outside the US, has this credential carried real local weight, or mostly helped with US-based/remote roles?
ITSI's licensing cost is steep — does that shrink the realistic job pool more in some regions than others?
