IDP goals are objectives which are part of an Individual Development Plan aimed at the professional development of an employee. IDP goals may concern skill improvement, acquisition of new knowledge, taking on certain responsibilities or preparation for further career prospects. IDP goals have to be specific and measurable with realistic deadlines and activities to achieve them. An employee can develop a goal to attend a related training program or improve some working skills.
